WHere is an easy interpretation of a beverage found on a new menu. It's a party-sized pre-mixed that is loaded with the flavours of a Christmas time, which makes it perfect for your festive gathering. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup you can use for breakfast cocktails, desserts, or for another batch of this cocktail.

Serves 10 people
Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
For the Premix (produces 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Directions
Making the Syrup: Place the listed ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a simmer, agitating to dissolve. After that, take off the heat and let it to cool fully. Transfer into a sterilised bottle, cap it and store in the refrigerator, it will last for up to four weeks.
For the Cocktail Base: Combine the specified liquid ingredients in a large bottle, let it rest for 60 minutes, then strain , ideally through cheesecloth, making it completely strained.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of the batch mix to a cocktail shaker containing ice, gently stirring lightly for about 60 seconds until cold. Filter to a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, top with a few cranberries adding the final touch with a light spray of the essential oil over the top.
